About Hamdard Joshina Syrup
Hamdard Joshina is an Unani preparation Joshina Syrup works by suppressing the formation of enzymes that are activated in the inflammatory process, activates cell-mediated immunity, reduces swelling, stimulates immune function, raises the sex desire, increases blood circulation, and increases the heart rate.

Ingredients used in Hamdard Joshina Syrup
Adhatoda Vasica/ Malabar nut: For Breathing problems, and muscle pain.
Amaltas/Cassia Fistula/Golden rain tree: For swelling and as a cleaning agent for wounds.
Dama Booti/Onosma bracteatum: For cough, and irritation of the bladder.
Naushadar/Ammonium Chloride: Used as Expectorant.
Gaozaban/Onosma: For bacterial infection, Convulsions, wound healing and pain.
Qand Safaid: For Wounds, stress, and increased blood sugar.
Roghan Tulsi/Tukhm khatmi: For skin disorders, and respiratory problems.
Rube Mulethi/Liquorice: For spasms, increased body temperature, and microbial infection.
Sapistan/Lasora: For bacterial infection, Respiratory infection, and microbial infection.
Sate Podina: For the common cold, improper digestion, diarrhoea, and headache.
Tukhm Khubbazi/Malva: for constipation, burning urination, expectorant.
Unnab/Jujube fruit/beri: Used for anxiety, and stress, as an immunity booster, for Bones and Muscles.
How to use Hamdard Joshina Syrup
- Adult: Two teaspoons with lukewarm water thrice a day
- Child: One teaspoon with lukewarm water twice a day
Precautions to be taken while using Hamdard Joshina Syrup
Before using Joshina syrup, inform your doctor about your current list of medications you are using, allergies, pre-existing diseases and current health conditions. Not to be used for more than 4-6 weeks. Patients with increased heart rate. Joshina may interact with the following drugs and products, which changes its effects:
- Hydrocortisone
- Oral contraceptives
- Prednisolone
